Handover is a start, not an exit.
Changes keep landing after launch. On Onboard Marine, a mid-service variation flow was built because the client asked for it in a morning meeting.
Handover typically lands around six weeks in. One integration is shorter; five services and a desktop accounting package is longer. We tell you which you have after discovery, not before.

The quote starts with the parts, so the system does too.
- One catalogue, three suppliers. Mercury, Volvo Penta and MAN price files in one searchable master. Mercury alone is roughly 45,000 lines.
- Ask for a part in plain English. The office asks in Slack and gets the current dealer price back.
- Re-price a whole quote with a badge. A badge on the job in ServiceM8 re-prices every line against the catalogue and posts what moved.
- Capture from the dock. Notes, photos and checklists compile into the job description. An approved quote emails the customer with no second click.

Six services keep QuickBooks Desktop, Airtable and DocuWare in step.
- The whole sales workflow. Quotes, sales-order conversion, invoicing, vendor purchase orders and proof of delivery.
- Margin QuickBooks will not apply. The customer and vendor margin hierarchy runs on the estimate, which QuickBooks cannot do on its own.
- On premises where it has to be. Five cloud services plus a Windows sync for the accounting package the business is not moving off.

A fifteen-page rebuild onto a zero-dependency Node server, then the parts that change on their own.
- The programme edits itself. The Sunday line-up is rows in Airtable, live within one poll. No commit, no deploy — and a failed poll serves the last good version, not an empty page.
- Menus generated from the menu. The PDFs are built from the menu page itself, so 78 dishes and their prices cannot drift between page, download and structured data.
- Book without leaving the page. Reservations open as a modal. The visit page carries a live map and directions.
- Next: rostering the acts. Which band plays which Sunday, on the same data layer.
